It's here. The JamNow beta is officially out on both iPhone and Android, and we're looking for beta testers to jam with us.

What is JamNow? JamNow is an app that helps musicians play together anytime, anywhere. Instead of endless scheduling back and forth, you set when you're free, discover other musicians and spontaneous jam sessions nearby, and just show up and play, whether that's in a park, a studio, or wherever the music takes you.

The video below walks through how to set your availability, which is the heart of the app:

1. Open your profile and tap Availability.

2. Pick the days and time windows you're usually free to jam.

3. Save it, and JamNow then matches you with musicians and sessions that fit those slots, and notifies you when someone nearby wants to play.

We've received our first batch of printed flyers and posters to support the early rollout of the JamNow app. These materials will be used for local promotion and community outreach as we continue growing the network of musicians and jam sessions.

JamNow is now on Instagram and Facebook.

We will be sharing moments from recent jam sessions, photos, videos, and updates from the community as it grows.

Our goal is simple: build a real, living music community beyond the app and these channels will help bring that to life.

Our JamNow WhatsApp group is currently where we organize jams, mainly around Zürich, and where people can quickly join or suggest new jam sessions. We currently have groups for Zürich and Lucerne, and there is also an alpha test chat there for people who want to follow and help shape the app early.
